Dolfi Herscovici, Jr DO, joins the Center for Bone an Joint Disease

Dr. Herscovici provides orthopedic health care services covering simple to complex problems.  As a result of his training and fellowships his practice includes injuries, problems and diseases of the Foot and Ankle. These can range from the simple care of bunions, hammer toes or painful feet to those who present with more complex problems such as diabetics, patients with severe arthritis, fractures and dislocations of the foot and ankle, those with congenital abnormalities, including polio, cerebral palsy and clubfeet, patients presenting with disabilities as a result of tendon, ligament or nerve problems, infections involving the foot and ankle, or those who have developed problems as a result of prior injuries to the foot or ankle.
Dr. Mijic is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon. He earned his medical degree at Des Moines University in Des Moines, IA. Following his graduation, he was accepted into the orthopaedic residency program at St. John Providence Health System in Madison Heights, MI. After finishing his orthopaedic residency, Dr. Mijic completed a shoulder and elbow reconstruction fellowship at Holy Cross Orthopedic Institute located in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Dr. Mijic sees patients with all types of orthopaedic injuries, with a special emphasis in sports medicine and shoulder and elbow reconstruction.
