The weather was perfect for racing on Saturday, December 13, at Sebring international Raceway sponsored by Chin Motorsports. Dr. Salinsky and the Center for Bone and Joint Disease continue to show support for Shea Holbrook of the Shea Racing group. The Shea Racing hauler was loaded with a Miata, MX-5, Ariel Atom, and Pro Mazda. Dr. Salinsky got in on some of the action by test driving his new Miata car with the expert racing group.
Having good flexibility and stamina is very important to racing. All of the cars require superb upkeep which requires ongoing high-level maintenance, which includes being put into tight spots for fixes and repairs of the automobile so they are able to perform at top efficiency. Shea shared her experience as a professional water skier and the bumps and bruises she earned while in competition. Both Dr. Salinsky and Shea Holbrook discussed the impact of orthopedic injury and being able to maintain a good range of motion while operating a motor vehicle at a high rate of speed. Dr. Salinsky described the positive results he receives with his total-knee-replacement patients by helping them to return to an active lifestyle. In fact, many of his patients tell him that they should have undergone the procedure much earlier.
If you are having any issues with your knees and would like to get an examination by Dr. Salinsky, do not hesitate to give his office a call at (352) 596-0900 to set an appointment.
